WINTER RETREAT 

Middle & high school students

Each winter, our middle and high school students head to Watermarks Camp, just outside of Charlottesville, for a two-night retreat designed to step away from the busyness of everyday life and intentionally grow in their relationship with God.

Each year, the retreat centers around a unique biblical theme as students are challenged through engaging teaching sessions led by our leaders, small-group breakout huddles, worship, team-building activities, recreation, and plenty of free time to build lasting friendships.

Our hope is that students return home encouraged, spiritually refreshed, and equipped to continue following Jesus in their everyday lives.

CIY MIX

Middle School Summer Camp

CIY MIX is a four-night camp experience designed specifically for middle schoolers. Students join thousands of other students from churches across the country for an unforgettable week centered on growing in their relationship with Jesus.

Throughout the week, students experience dynamic worship, engaging biblical teaching, small-group discussions, exciting recreation, and meaningful opportunities to build friendships with both their youth group and students from other churches.

MIX is designed to challenge students to deepen their faith, develop lasting relationships, and take their next step in following Jesus. It's a week that many students look forward to all year and one that often has a lasting impact on their spiritual journey.

CIY MOVE

High School Summer Camp

CIY MOVE is a summer camp experience created specifically for high school students. Every other year we attend this intentional environment designed to meet students where they are in their faith while challenging them to take the next step in following Jesus.

Throughout the week, students experience powerful worship, biblical teaching, small-group discussions, recreation, and meaningful opportunities to build lasting friendships with students from our church and others from across the country. As students mature and especially as graduating seniors begin preparing for college, the workforce, or wherever God leads next, MOVE provides biblical encouragement and practical teaching to help them live out their faith beyond high school.

OVERSEAS MISSIONS 

High school students

On the alternating years of CIY MOVE, our high school ministry takes an overseas mission trip to give students the opportunity to put their faith into action. The goal is to take what they've been learning on Sunday nights, at retreats, and through camps, and live it out by serving others and sharing the love of Christ.

Mission trips challenge students to step outside of their comfort zones, depend on God in new ways, and rely on one another as a team. Along the way, they experience firsthand how God is working around the world, serving alongside brothers and sisters in Christ from different cultures and backgrounds. Time and time again, we've watched God transform students as they serve, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to live sent.
