Psalm 115

We all place our trust in something, whether a career, a relationship, money, or reputation. But most of what we lean on was never designed to carry the full weight of our lives. Psalm 115 exposes the emptiness of idols and points us toward the only One who can truly hold that weight. Idols not only fail to carry us, they actually change us. We become like whatever we worship, and misplaced trust slowly deforms us. Jesus is the perfect example of complete trust in the Father, and He carried the weight of our failure so we could be restored. Trusting God is not about having all the answers. It is simply and consistently returning to the One who has proven He can hold it all.
